 I had all intentions on using one of these pictures for our Christmas cards but the kids were not cooperating.  It was still a fun time!

 We had family Christmas early this year. 

 We decided to start a tradition of making a gingerbread structure.  Ty picked out the train.

I am still busy working on more layouts from Bryson City and Christmas.  I also have all of Ty's football pictures to scrap.  I just scrapped one football picture for Valerie at gotsketch so be on the lookout!!

Happy New Year!

Wow it's been a long time since my last post!  November and December seem to be crazy and full of fun events. 

First, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my mom.  I love when she comes to visit.  The kids love it to.  In Brooke's words, "Grammy spoils us rotten!"  I have to agree!

Thanksgiving Day!

 

December was another wonderful month. 

Grammy Bonnie and Brooke went to Madeline's Christmas at the Dock Street Theater! 

 

We went on a long weekend trip to Bryson City, NC, to ride the Polar Express.  We stayed in an amazing cabin in the mountains.  The Becks and Roses joined us!

The waiters danced through the train car delivering cookies and hot chocolate.

 

We also were able to watch Brooke show off everything she has learned in gymnastics since October.   She did such a wonderful job!  We were all so proud of her.

 

Christmas Day was also wonderful!  The kids enjoyed opening their presents.  Daddy and Ty spent the morning building his legos while Brooke played with her crafts and new American Girl doll!

 

You just can't help but love these two!

 

Which brings us to January.  Ty has started playing flag football on a 3-5 yr old league.  He is playing with the Beck boys.  They are SO adorable to watch.  Ty isn't too fond of anyone taking his flags though but he did manage to run the ball down the field for a touchdown.

 

Most days Ty and Brooke will mention that they wish Christmas would come back.  I remind them that it will but we need to think about all the other fun things we have coming up this winter and spring.  Brooke will continue gymnastics and hopefully play t-ball this spring.  Ty plays football through February.  Then Grammy Marsha will be back down for Easter!!
