Lots of Layouts

Hey everyone!  With the gotsketch express 4 class coming to a close I wanted to share with you the layouts I created.  I also have a few I created from Bella Blvd sketches and color challenges.  I also did a Jillibean sketch.  I am working on getting caught up on scrapping before my mom comes down in two weeks!  We always take a TON of pictures so I know I will still have plenty to do!  So here we go...

My mom wanted me to get a picture of the kids laying in a pile of leaves! I told her that our tree in the front yard doesn't turn red until Dec/Jan.  So I piled up the dead, brown leaves instead!  It turned out pretty cute!  I used Bella Blvd. first Sat sketch for this layout and their products.

Here is a layout using a Jillibean sketch and Jillibean products.  Love my lil' stinker!
Here is a sketch from gotsketch express 4.  Brooke went to Rocco's horse show with me and braided his tail so he would be handsome!
Here is a layout I did for Bella Blvd.'s color challenge.
I just finished this layout using Bella Blvd.'s second Sat sketch for Oct.   I also used their products.
Here is a layout I did at the beginning of gotsketch express 4.  Can't believe Ty is 3!!  I used Bella Blvd. Birthday Boy collection.
Here is a layout with a picture of Ty on his favorite thing in the WHOLE world...a digger!  My mom got me this paper awhile back!
Here is a layout from the pumpkin patch at Skytop Orchard using Bella Blvd. products and a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Here is a layout from SkyTop Orchard.  I used Bella Blvd. again and a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Here is a layout of my tree monkey using a sketch from gotsketch express 4!  This is Little Yellow Bicycle...my mom's favorite manufacturer!
Here is layout of me and my horse, Rocco, during our Sat. morning lesson.  I used Bella Blvd. again and  a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Here is a layout from SkyTop Orchard using Simple Stories and a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Here is another layout from SkyTop Orchard using Bella Blvd. and a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Here is one of my favorite layouts!  Again, I used Bella Blvd. and a sketch from gotsketch express 4.
Another layout from gotsketch express 4 using Simple Stories.  The pictures are from our trip up to Greenville.
This is a layout from gotsketch using a card sketch but turning it into a layout.  It is from Ty's third birthday using Echo Park.
Finally, here is another gotsketch card sketch turned into a layout Bella Blvd.
You can still download all the sketches from gotsketch express 4 at www.gotsketch.blogspot,.com!!

As you can see October was a month full of fun and fall activities!!  To top it all off I was named Teacher of the Year at the school I work, Laurel Hill Primary!  Such and honor and a huge blessing.

I hope everyone had a fabulous October and I wish you a very blessed November!!

Bella Blvd. Design Team

Well, unfortunately I didn't make the Bella Blvd. Design Team.  Actually didn't think I had a chance as so many WELL know scrappers apply for the positions.  However, it was still a TON of fun designing with their products.  Here are the layouts I submitted!

Even though I didn't make the team, they are still some of my favorite layouts.

If you haven't heard Gotsketch is starting a new class next month.  Check out all the details at www.gotsketch.blogspot.com! I already got a peek at the first sketch and it is AWESOME!

Going out on a limb!

So in the past month I have applied for three design teams.  I decided to try to do more with my scrapbooking and see what happens.  I'm not sure what the outcome will be but at least I can say I tried.  I should find out by the end of the month!!  I know....as if I don't have enough to do!  I also decided to join in with two manufacturers and do their monthly sketch.  Here are my layouts for Jillibean Soup and Bella Blvd.

You can visit their blogs for all the details:  www.bellablvd.typepad.com and jillibeansoup.typepad.com

I can't wait to start taking fall pictures and showing you my layouts!  We have a lot planned in the coming months so be on the look out!

Start of the School Year!

Well, the school year is off to a great start!  I have a wonderful class of first graders who will definitely keep me on my toes all year!  As hard as it is to go back to work, and not see Ty and Brooke as much, it IS nice to get back into a routine and look forward to all the fall/winter festivities.  I can't wait to go back to Skytop Orchard to pick apples and visit with old friends.  We have also bought tickets to ride the Polar Express in December with the Becks and Roses.  I can't wait!!! It sounds SO amazing.  They actually dance through the train and serve hot chocolate while reading the Polar Express.  When we get to the North Pole they turn off the train lights so the kids can see all the lights.  Then, Santa comes to visit and gives each child a silver bell.  I know the kids will LOVE it!

Last weekend we had the Beck boys stay with us.  It was a ton of fun, and exhaustion for me, but it was all worth it.  I love those little guys.  Here is a picture of everyone after swimming in the pool:

And of course a picture of Ty after the boys left Sunday afternoon!!  Poor little guy.  It sure is tough having a whole weekend with your besties!!

I am hoping to do some scrapbooking this weekend.  I am needing some creative time!  I just finished a layout for Val and Gotsketch.  Be on the look out for when it is released.  It is a wonderful sketch, as always!

Summer is Officially Over

I am going to miss seeing these smiling faces everyday...all day.  It has been a wonderful summer full of wonderful memories.  I took these pictures today.  Ty is turning 3 next Thursday.  Where has the time gone?  I wish I could freeze time and keep him little forever.  Papa will have his handfuls with him this year!!  If that isn't hard enough on me, my little girl is going to start first grade on Wednesday.  Sniff!  Sniff!  I know she will have a wonderful year with her teacher, Mrs. Claxton.  Mrs. Claxton is as sweet and wonderful as they come.  The best part is I get to see her each day as she will go to school with me.  I am very excited for my class this year.  I have 8 returning siblings with wonderful families that I have already grown to love!  I am also excited for all the fall events such as going to the apple orchard, going to the pumpking patch, making apple crisp, cooler weather, etc.  I can't wait to see what this year has in store...hopefully no more visits to the dentist for root canals or teeth extractions!!!

Michigan Scrapping with Mom

While we were in Michigan for our summer vacation, mom and I did a LOT of scrapping.  It was over 100 degrees outside most days so we didn't do the usual activities we usually do outside.  Brooke joined us and completed a whole scrapbook herself.  When our vacation came to an end, mom has scrapped 32 pages and I scrapped 40 pages.  Here are some of the pages I scrapped.  I just love scrapping with my mom!!
