Told you I was bad at updating my blog. Since I last blogged Adam and I received some great news....we are pregnant with our second child. I have been extremely sick. Something I never experienced with Brooke. Anyhow, I haven't been doing much at all...which includes blogging.

Brooke just celebrated her 3rd birthday. Here is a picture from her celebration:

Her day started with Daddy taking her to Playhouse Disney. Then, Papa, Grammy and Uncle Scott came over for hot dogs, macaroni, and cake. She finished the night opening presents. It was small and wonderful!!

Hee Hee! I am SO bad at updating my blog. Well, here it goes.

We had a very BUSY weekend doing holiday things! First, we took Brooke to the zoo and then to the lights display at the zoo the same night. She LOVED seeing all the animals and lights. Her favorite part was riding on the train. Here are a few pics:

I am working on my layouts for Transparent Touches. I am loving the kit I am working with. Even though we don't get snow here the winter kit is turning out to be GREAT!!

Here is a great new sketch website to check out. This is my take on their first sketch! I tried to think of a new way to add a fall tree to my page. I had seen this idea in a couple of magazines.

Hey everyone! Hope October is treating you well. We took our family vacation this past weekend to the mountains. It was a blast! We spent Saturday morning enjoying the outdoor scenery and spent the afternoon at the apple orchard. This year I bought Blushing Gold apples but Adam stuck to his favorite, Gala! Brooke had so much fun walking through the pumpkins and picking apples. She also got to play on the swing set and pet the goats and sheep. She loved the slushy apple cider and the apple cider doughnuts! I will post some pics later. I bought three special outfits for our trip!!

I just finished making apple crisp. Had to call my mom and Don to brag!!

Hey y'all! Hope everyone is well. We are sitting here today waiting for Tropical Storm Hanna to hit : ) It should not be too bad so we decided not to evacuate. I did stress out and pack EVERYTHING I could but decided to put it all away. We may lose electricity tonight but hopefully not. We bought plenty of food and water to live through the weekend!!! I'm not sure living by the beach is all it's cracked up to be : )

In the mean time here are a couple pictures to celebrate the start of football season!!
